Inadequate Dashboard Gadgets

Hi All,

I have been trying to promote JIRA at my company and it has been pretty frustrating to give the managers a reasonable visibility to projects. I have created dashboards but the gadgets offered free are highly inadequate. It is frustrating that even some of the reports offered on boards (which are also not that great) are not available as gadgets. For example, a view to show the breakdown of an Epic is not available as a gadget. (The Single Level Group By report is better than nothing). 

I have also been looking at add-ons but information provided doesn't tell much. Often I am not able to say if the add-on will come with a gadget. I am not experienced enough to create gadgets but I suppose that is something I need to explore. 

Anyone else having these issues? Got any helpful advice?
