How to programmatically login in to JIRA?

Hello,

Is there a way users could be logged in programmatically with C# (.net) technology? Would you be able to provide some sample code?
For example, users open our web application. There is a button (on our web application) to allow the users to log in to our JIRA system automatically. That could includes two actions:
- Connect to the JIRA system through username and password.
- Redirect URL to the user's project area, to allow user see the projects and issues related to him/her without typing username and password.

I'm not entirely sure if this is what you are looking for, but I work for Kantega Single Sign-on and with our add-on installed you can access JIRA without typing your username or password.
