I know the only ranking Jira uses currently is on the board views when you are on the Backlog or looking at the actual kanban or scrum board.
However I would like to rank these issues numerically, so that we can list them on a dashboard or a JQL filter to use on various pages ranking them.
I'm sure that you all will direct me to use Advanced Roadmaps (formally portfolio) to accomplish this but that is entirely too expensive for the amount of users that I have currently. So I'm trying to find a substitute feature that only does ranking of issues.
Seeing if someone else has ran into this situation before and any ideas on it? Doing it manually wouldn't be sustainable of course.
