How Entity_property value changes in JIRA?

Hello Everyone,

I was surprised by rapid change in entity_property value in JIRA after project import. How this value changes? depends on what?

Ex.Maximum entity_property value was 380724 before project import. After project import (project with 120 issues), maxi entity_property value increased to 382232.

 

Question is with respect to Project Import, where import fails due to duplicate entity_property. Then we need to fix the backup file using this KB https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/project-import-fails-due-to-too-many-errors-747836945.html

Since the entity_property changed so rapidly, project import failed again due to duplicate entity_property values. 

So would like know how this value changes so rapidly. Since we need to import many projects, are we going to face this issue each project import?
