Disable Issues Types from Issues Creation Drop Down

We have 10 issues types in our project and there were existing issues with all those issue types. But now few of them are not in use, So we would like to disable them from the issue creation drop down instead of removing them from Issue type scheme.

Please help us with this.

Is there any Addon supporting this feature?
