Bulk Change Ignores the Screen Scheme In Jira

Hi,

Recently It came to my observation that Bulk change allows the users to edit any field In jira regardless of the screen scheme we used to control the fields not being edited after creation of the Issue.

Here is the scenario we have a screen scheme where Fix version not present in any screen of the Sub-task screen. Reason not to allow users to edit the Fix version field. But there is a bummer If we use bulk change Issues users can able to update/Edit the Fix version.

Bulk change totally Ignores the Screen scheme for Jira. It applies to eveyfield In jira. There Is no point of having screen scheme(create/Edit/View) when one of their purpose completely Igonred.

Is there any workaround for this situation.

Thanks,

sudheer
