Best way to import Pivotal data into Jira?

Hello,

We are looking to switch from pivotal to jira and I see there are two possible methods. One using the import wizard in jira cloud to import the data via the PT API. the other looks to be to import the data via CSV by exporting the data for each project.  Is there any sort of validation done on the import or is that task on the user to validate all data was imported?

Any info on migrating data from pivotal to jira would be helpful as I am trying to put together an action plan with a rough timeline to switch over from pivotal to jira.

Thanks,

CW
