Is there any Addon for Automatic attached Attachments through CSV file

Hello, @santhoshkumar

what kind of csv do you want to attach automatically?

i want to import the project data but they provide me as CSV files and attachments separately when im importing the files directly through CSV only data is fetching i cant able to see attachments,
is there any way that i can import attachments separately for particular data

As mentioned in CSV import documentation, you should first place files you want to attach into your $JIRA_HOME/import/attachments folder, then you can mention those paths in your csv file.

but i have an multiple files Ex 7000 Attached files how it can ?

well, guess you have filenames mapped to issues they should be attached to anyway, you can try mass editing your csv with for example excel, I mean adding that prefix path to filenames

but each and every file name is different.
File No:

1. C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\JIRA\data\attachments\HDFCMF\HMF-51\34624

2. C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\JIRA\data\attachments\HDFCMF\HMF-102\thumbs\_thumb_35311

You can see the both the files names are different at the end of the file name

so like this for every issue having an attachmentS.

Did u got my point

Yeah, I quite don't understand why you have attachments as a folder, but data as a csv.

If you are moving from instance to instance then I believe it's easier to move database as a whole with a backup, and attachment folder as well.

Documentation I linked earlier says you can specify attachment as a URL link, so if you have instance you are moving from up, you can try using something like this:

https://jira-server:8080/secure/attachment/image-name.png

Do you want to import files based on csv file?
