Alternatives to ServiceDesk/best ticketing systems to integrate with JIRA?

Hello - just hoping to get some insight into peoples experiences integrating ticketing systems other than service desk with JIRA and the pros and cons of using servicededesk as a ticketing solution.

(My company is trying to centralize on a single ticketing system that would ideally work well with JIRA).

Any wisdom/recommendations/warnings would be appreciated.
