Adding a confluence link in a Release / Version description field

Edited

Hi All,

I'm trying to see if I can add a link to a confluence page with the scope of the release details into the description field so that anyone can click on it and be taekn to the page with the details in it.

The JIRA text mark-up doesn't appear to be working in this field.  Has anyone managed to get it working?

I need to do the same thing!  Did you find a solution or an alternate work-around yet?

would be nice to have it in the future
