Add required fields before changing the status.

I have added a screen before closing the ticket, In that field I added a Checkbox and I want to make it as Required.
and also I want my comment field as Required.

Is it possible using Automation for Jira ? We already have that plugin, that's the reason I mentioned the plugin

I don't believe you need a plugin at all to do this.  I checked my Cloud instance, which has no add-ons installed, and saw the needed option.  Here's how to do it:

1. In the admin area for your Jira workflow, click the transition that's before the final status (the same one where you previously added the screen)

2. Click the "Validators" tab, in the workflow behaviors area, at the bottom of the screen

3. Click the "Add validator" button

4. Select the "Field Required Validator" validator (See screenshot below)

5. Add the "Comment" field and your checkbox field

6. Publish your workflow

Here's what that validator option looks like in Jira Cloud.

I am on Server, 7.11.2 version.

That option comes under Jira MISC workflow plugin for us
