How to add fields to Details tab in project settings as image

The details tab is not a screen. Only in a screen, can you add a custom field.
The details tab is supposed to be the page to have standard project information at one place.

It's not possible to add fields to projects in Jira. If you need to add properties or fields to projects it is necessary to use any app from the marketplace.

I can recommend you Profields (Project tracker for Jira) to add project fields and track you projects:
