Hello !
I've been trying to use the calendar view, but none of my issues start on their assigned start date, I can only see their due date.
Even when I try to create a task right on the calendar, I can only see the task duration of the first time I define the start and due date.
If I change the start date later, it doesn't update.
Can anyone tell me if I'm not using this correctly or if it's a bug?
Best regards.
Hi @Filipa Cruz welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I tried to reproduce your issue, but when changing the Start date in the issue after creation of the issue directly in the Calendar, the issue correctly updates in the Calendar view.
Do all users experience the same issue?
Have you had this issue before?
Hello @Dave Mathijs !
Thank you so much for your time.
We've only started using Jira Work Management this week. I migrated all of our issues from Jira Cloud, not sure if that might cause some trouble.
Other users experience this as well, yes.

Are you sure that you are using the correct 'Start date' field? Do you perhaps have any other custom fields with the same name?

I'm pretty sure, I don't think I've created any custom fields besides the one Jira provides. Is there any way I can check that?

Hey Dave!
I just went to check and apparently I have two "Start Date" fields available.
I'm not sure why, but when I changed to the other one, the calendar started working as expected.
Thank you for your time and help!

Great to hear you found out the cause and was able to fix it.
