Hello All,
I am using JWM forms in company managed projects to receive tasks from other teams in our jira environment. Until yesterday it was working fine. Once the form is created and is open to everyone who can login to our instance could fill out the form and send to the board without being added to the project under any role. It was working with several teams like this. The problem is since today the same form stopped opening for the same people saying the form is not available. I checked everything with the issue types and workflows but nothing was new in projects.
I could still find a workaround by going to permissions and in create issue adding all logged in users. This is how the users can create the tickets via JWM forms. Then I figured people cannot add attachments as well so I had to manually configure the permission settings again.
My concern is if Jira has changed something in this case or it is related to something else? In case Jira changed is there a way to track these changes?
Thank you in advance to all getting back to me.
Kind Regards,
Nabeela
Hi Nabeela,
The users need the ability to create issues on your project, so maybe the permission scheme changed. Take a look at that first. While in there use the Permission Helper just to verify for a user that can't see the form. Try both the Browse Projects permission and the Create issues permissions.
