Is it possible to change the board filter for a company managed work management project?

Hi there fellas,

okay got that: I can not modify the underlying board filter of a team managed project in Jira cloud.

But what about a company managed project with a work management project template? I do not find the option to edit the board filter.

I always thought a company managed project gives me more configuration options, but it seems like the project template / type "Jira Work Management" does not support it.

Anybody got an answer for me?

Hi Marvin,

In Jira Software company-managed projects, it is possible. But with a Jira Work Management project template, unfortunately, the option to edit the board filter isn't available.

So far, the "Jira Work Management" project type doesn't support this feature.

The short answer is no, you cannot configure the filter used by the board in a JWM project, even if it is a company-managed one. There is a suggestion that want the same customization as in JSW, see JWMCLOUD-423, that you can vote and follow if you like.

Hi Martin,

While you can't change the board filter for a JWM project board, you can create a second board for which you can make changes to the filter.
