I cannot use Group By for date fields in the new Jira Product Discovery project i have created

I have created a new Product Discovery project but I cannot use Group By for date fields present on the board.



I have cross checked in another similar Product Discovery project created by a member from the organization and the Group By works for date field in that project.



Whats the issue here? Appreciate the help
