How to remove status in Jira work Management?

I have deleted status in the workflow but still display it on the board.

Please advise how to delete it permanently.

Hi Parminder - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Did you actually Publish the workflow after you made the changes? Be sure you do that. Then the column should disappear.

Hi John - On Jira Work Management there is no "Publish" button. There's an update workflow button, but I'm experiencing the same issue as above. The workflow has been updated, but the old statuses won't leave my board.

Yeah, I think this is a bug. You should report it to Atlassian here:
