I want to be able to send a webhook when submitting a Jira Form. However, under automation I cannot seem to find any options for working with forms. It seems like this was possible before with ProForma.
Is there any way I can do automation with Jira Forms?
@Khalib Morton 👋 -- the new native form builder (formerly ProForma for Cloud) is available in Jira Service Management. We haven't rolled it out to Work Management customers yet and I'm not able to share a date when it will be available there.
Automation for forms in Jira Service Management will rollout soon.
@Peter Preston Can you provide any more information regarding the timeline for the release of automation for forms in JSM?

Hi @Larry Hofmann we're close. I can't give you an exact date. I understand that's a frustrating answer and appreciate your patience. I've been testing it internally -- it'll be worth the wait.

@Peter Preston I can understand not giving an exact date and I do appreciate the response. However, I will say that I find it disappointing that Atlassian would release a feature like Forms without it being fully baked and having what I believe the end-user community would consider critical functionality like automation. Maybe it would have been better to enhance Request Types with the functionality that Forms has been given and then all of this wouldn't have to be re-engineered and frustrate the end-users with this piecemeal approach.
I apologize for directing my frustrations at you directly, it is not meant to be for you, but for the product/dev team(s) that decided to take this direction.
Regardless, I do appreciate the update/response and hope that it is released very soon, as I have some pretty heavy dependencies waiting on it.

Hi @Larry Hofmann - no need to apologize. You make a good point and it's something we considered.
I believe the forms features already released are good value. And I see your point 100%. The ability to automate around forms and form data is a big value add.
BTW, you're always welcome to share frustrations, requests, suggestions, ideas, etc. here. It's all helpful.
I'll share form updates in the Forms Group as soon as I get the green light to do so. If you're not in the group already, I invite you to join us in there.

Hi @Peter Preston I was wondering if there's any update on when automation for forms will be available? Thanks.
