Categories don't show on creating a task

Derya Dinç March 22, 2024

I created categories for my project as you can see below. But when creating the task, I cannot assign any of these categories because they don't show. How can I fix this?

Hi @Derya Dinç

If you begin to type "Amazon" into the field, does it appear?

I believe this is a search field, rather than a select list.

Hi @Derya Dinç

Where did you add these categories?

If you added them here...

  • Project Settings > Details > Category

...this isn't the same field, it's Project Categories.

---

You need to add this field's options via the List View...

  1. Select the List tab
  2. Click in a row under the Category column
  3. Type in a new category, and select to add it

...and then you should be able to use these options when creating issues.
