I'm having an issue where I'm able to update an Issue's due date from my Board view, but I get an error message that I don't have access to do this within the calendar view. Has anyone else come across or resolved this issue?

I just tried reproducing this issue in my test instance. I was successfully able to "Move" the ticket within the Calendar view as expected, adjusting the "Start date" and "Due date" automatically.
What is the error that you receive?

The message is:
"Error updating item
We're having trouble updating this item. Contact your admin to check you have permission to update this item. "
My Admin says that I should have the ability to update a due date via the calendar page. I can update the due date manually within my board so I'm just a bit confused as to why I can't within the calendar function.

Have you made sure that you have the "Plan issues" permission in the target project?
You can ask your admin to have a look at the "Audit log" to see if you get more info on the error.
