what is the correct JQL to query a KAN board to display only stories/tasks for a specific Epic

I would like to have a stand alone KAN board that just has stories/tasks of a single epic.  the main project has several epics for which i manage on a single board.  in this case i want a single board in the same project that only displays task/stories for a single/specific epic

i seem to be fat thumbing the jcl somewhere.

If this is a specific epic then try this - “epic link” = abc-123

replace abc-123 with your epic key.

In addition to what Jack suggests for an epic-specific filter, I wonder: why do you need a separate board?  Could you use a quick filter with JQL on the existing board to limit the view to what you need?
