user is creating a test case to an existing story, JIRAUSER26724 is displayed instead of username under created by.

Only one specific user is having this problem.

How to resolve it?

It is one of the new security features implemented by Atlassian  Please find the info in the link

Hope this helps .

Hey Faisal,

  Thanks for providing the document.

When others are creating test cases, those usernames are appearing. But only for one particular user, JIRAUSER is appearing.

As it is mentioned in the doc lasya that someone who was created before the implementation of the policy will remain the same . So for your case maybe the user was created after the policy was implemented hence forth the appearance . But for you to be satisfied with the resolution try creating a new user and check what is the output .

Faisal,

I am a jira admin so it works for me. So checked with three other users as well, working fine for them. But only one user is facing this issue. Our jira version is 8.9.1

Adding a point, when the user creates an issue, username is correctly appearing in  reporter name. Only when test case is created the problem occurs.
