Wanted to add ToDos for Jira Issues to our server install.
Install failed ?
Purchased a new license for Jira (4.2.4-b591)-- installed the new license
Now my existing Greenhopper add-on complains of a license conflict "The GreenHopper license type "STARTER" is incompatible with the JIRA license type "COMMERCIAL"<br>Both license types must match."
And the new Module still does NOT install.
It sounds like you have two different sized licences. For example, a Jira licence for 25 people, and Jira Software (Greenhopper) for 10 users.
The licence for the add-ons must match (or exceed) the platform licence numbers.
I'd also suggest you upgrade as soon as you can Jira 4 has known security flaws which are not going to be fixed.

This is not what your system is reporting. Could you give us a copy of the licence screen you have (with the key and any data you're not sure about sharing redacted)?

Ahh, yes, I see the problem now - the way keys are structured now has changed, and your Jira is not equating the types correctly. You'll either need to upgrade to Jira Software or get a new licence for Jira Software to get the GH app running
