jira server with https

Olaf Bachmann October 25, 2017

Hello.

I trie to run JIRA Server with https but without success.
When I check the selfe signed certificate thats fine
When I change the Jira settings with "configuration.sh" to "http to https redirect
" or "https only" I cant see any listening port 8443 with "netstat -tlpn".

Service and server restart done.

My sources:

# impot certificate

 # modify configuration

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/using-the-jira-application-configuration-tool-802593165.html

Can you give me please some suggestions?

Kind regards

Is Jira actually running after you restarted it?  If so, it should have said "jira is available at" somewhere as it started up, and you could test to see if that is available.
