Hello,
I'm running Jira version v8.13.0#813000-sha1:8c68d80 on internal MySQL 5.7.32.
often, when I create a new issue in Jira I get this error text:
com.atlassian.jira.exception.DataAccessException: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.CommunicationsException: Communications link failure The last packet successfully received from the server was 133,328 milliseconds ago. The last packet sent successfully to the server was 1 milliseconds ago
Unfortunately I can't find it in the logs so I can't be more detailed than this.
Oddly enough, even with the error displayed the issue itself is opened and I can see it if I hit 'reload'. I open multiple identical issues if I hit the 'Create' button more than once.
The MySQL server itself has no known issues. An instance of Confluence is running on the same server and using the same MySQL, with no problems at all.
Can you help me troubleshooting the issue?
