i want my JSM Portal to have sign up and also domain restrictions but no approval restrcition

So right now, Every time a user signs up on the JSM Portal his request is forwarded on the User Management page for approval. This makes me handle every user to give him a customer access.

And in the JSM Portal setting, I have added a restriction of domain.

I want every time a user signs-up, He or she should get access immediately as long as the domain added is right 

The channel has open-access

Can I clarify that you need external users who sign up with the listed domain to have automatic access to your JSM portal?

As it's only one domain, are these external customers? Or employees within your business?

I don't see an immediate issue with the setup - where are you receiving the user access requests to for approval?

I am receiving the request in user management and all of these are from the same Domain as mentioned in the Screenshot. These are employees within the same business bit considered as customers.

Hi @Muhammad Waleed 

The reason I ask about whether they're internal employees is you could...

  • Setup your domain in Atlassian Access
  • Automatically grant users access to Atlassian, and provide them the Customer role
  • Use the Internal setting instead of External in JSM

Is this an option for you?

Hi, @Stephen Wright _Elabor8_ So if they are not technical personnel they don't know the Jira space and how to use it also we want to minimize the number of licenses since they will become users of users and not a customer. All I want is that they should sign up and if the domain is right they don't need approval and go directly to the form and add issues or requests they want.
