how do i relate jira versions with greenhopper 6 sprints?

bmoomaw August 16, 2012

with the old greenhopper, we defined our scrum sprints as sub-versions in Jira, and they all show up appropriately on the (now) classic boards in greenhopper.

we just upgraded to GH 6 and now all of the sprint setup is in greenhopper itself. when i make a new board for an existing project, the sprint structure from before doesn't carry forward into the new board. furthermore, i can't seem to find how to relate a sprint in new greenhopper with a particular version in jira. any ideas or thoughts?

The new boards do not overload versions to implement sprints. If you wish to add the issues from a sprint to a particular version, the easiest way is to go to the Sprint Report for that sprint then click the 'View in Issue Navigator' link above the 'Completed Issues', then use bulk edit.

Thanks,
