draw.io plugin version 4.1 should enable version control. I can't find such thing. Do I have to configurate something else?

There is no revision control in draw.io for JIRA, it's not technically to do this while storing the diagram as an attachment.

Thanks to the Draw.io JIRA Plugin I can create and edit diagrams within JIRA tickets.

Once I edit this diagram, there are no hints about changes, i.e. I can't control whether or not someone edited the diagram. So how do I establish a version control of my diagrams?

Our draw.io JIRA plugin is version 4.1.0.0, JIRA Project Management Software v6.4.12
