Is there a way that I can customize what fields I see (and therefore can fill in) in the different ticket screens. I noticed I see 2 different forms for a ticket form
1) initial creation
this is once I hit the blue "create" button which opens a popup
2) Look at created ticket screen
Once I created a ticket I can see more info on this screen. E.g. story points.
Is there a way that I can customize what I can see/edit on both screens?
Yes, you can create three different screens if you want. One for creating the issue, one that is for editing it, and the last one that will used to display the information on the detailed issue view. Have a look at Defining a screen for more information.
Go to Project settings > Screens. From here you can see the screen scheme that each issue type is using, and if you click on the scheme it will show you which screens are associated with that scheme.
