Another alternative is using the built-in issue history report in Better Excel Exporter for Jira. It produces an Excel report with detailed Jira issue history. You can also modify the template and customize it to your needs, even combine it with other Jira issue data.

This tutorial blog talks more about the topic of exporting Jira issue history to Excel.

(Please note that Better Excel Exporter is a paid and supported app and I'm part of the team developing it.)

Hello @Tyas Iglecias

You can try Issue History add-on, which shows all the changes that have been made to issues (including Assignee changes) and generates a report.

Also, you can extract the report as XLSX or CSV files and use external tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheet to process the exported data.

I hope, you find it helpful.

Hi @Tyas Iglecias ,

"Get issue rest api" provides historical data once you provide expand=changelog query parameter. It returns json response as below. Then you need to parse the response, extract the data and make your calculation.

Or, you can try Marketplace apps which do the parsing and calculation for you. You can try Status Time app developed by our team at Bloompeak. It provides reports on how much time spent on each assigne as well as assignee change dates. It also has CSV export feature.

Here is the online demo link, you can see it in action and try. Hope it helps.

Hello @Tyas Iglecias

I still dint find the exact way for this using JQL.

Jira REST API will help you with such activities.

Here is another thread which may help you
