is it possible to change the color on any portion of a ticket(ex. epic, font etc.) if it becomes overdue?
There are apps that allow you to set the color based on a JQL query, have a look that the Marketplace. I looked at Colors for Jira and Color Custom Fields when I evaluated adding this to some of our projects.
