cannot drag issues from kanban board columns

hi,

jira software 7.3 server users.

i noticed when there is more than 1 status mapped to a column, the dragging of issues between columns woudn't work.

is this a bug or intended behaviour?

is there a workaround ?

Dragging issues between colums should work.You just need to make sure that there is a valid transition between the source status and the target status.

Are you asking about dragging issues between statuses in the same column? If so, that wouldn't work and it is the intended behavior.

Some of us have requested that it be made to work, but the requests have been shut down with "won't fix" resolutions.
