I created a new Jira instance as we've split from our parent company and after doing a backup of original instance and restore to the new instance, the links in the "attachments" don't work.
The links still point to the parent company URL. There must be a way to fix the problem. Just don't know how...

There's a step within the import process that tells you if you want to retain the link or change it. What did you select on that step? If it's the attachments are not working, I suggest you perform the same restore again on your new Jira instance and this time, watch out for any prompts.
