Why cannot be the Sprint custom field migrated between JIRA instances?

Dear all,

I set up two JIRA instances of the same version and installed on both the Greenhopper plug-in of the same version.

When I try to migrate an agile Greenhopper project between the two JIRA instances - by backup and project import - I become the following warning:

Unable to import custom field 'Sprint'. The custom field type does not support project import.

And so it happended. The information to which sprint an issue belongs is gone after the migration. The custom field is not set in the target JIRA instance.

I think you should warn for this on your https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Backing+Up+and+Restoring+Data page, because the sprint information is not trivial from my point of view.
