Why are my options different than others in my organization?

Others have options in the ellipses menu of a board that allow for changing detail view.  However, those options are missing for me.  I have tried to switch browsers and use private mode, but it would appear that some sort of setting at the user account level must be the issue.  Is this a setting that I've messed with in the past?  How do I see these options again?

Coworkers have:

Board Settings
Create board
Hide menus
Show/Hide detail view

etc

Are you using the Old Jira View or the New Jira View. I get what you have when running it in the Old Jira View. But I see more options like your co-workers if I do the same thing in the New Jira View.
