Where is the edit entire issue button in the latest update?

There used to be an "Edit" button when viewing an issue that would let you edit all fields the same way you can whe entering an issue.

We cannot seem to find this button after the latest JIRA updates, and have to edit each field independantly. Where can we edit ALL fields of an issue at the same time?

Hi Derek,

There is no Edit button in the new Jira Issue View as all of the fields are already in Edit mode. If you find a field that you cannot edit, it is probably because the field is not on the Edit Screen for that project and issue type.

Perhaps the distinction @derek_baum is making is that with the old issue view and Edit screen you could edit multiple fields and then execute the Save action just once, and that would result in one entry in the History log detailing the changes to all the fields. With the new issue view, each field must be saved individually, resulting in History log entries for each field change separately.

Yes, that is correct that each field is saved as you update each field's value.

Trudy is correct. That functionality is what I was looking for. One save for multiple fields.

Sorry - but that doesn't happen in the new view.
