Where is the component section on my project sidebar?

I've seen at my work that it's possible to add components to a Jira project. For a personal project, I'm trying to do the same since my architecture has two components but I can't find the "Component" button in my sidebar.

I did read this documentation page about Jira Software Cloud but it doesn't help... : https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/organizing-work-with-components-764478279.html

Do I get something wrong there?

The is no components in a next-Gen project. You may find this usefull

What type of project are you working with? If Agility then components don’t apply. Can you provide screenshot of your project page?

Thanks Jack, I did solve my issue. My project is Agile and therefore I agree with you, components don't apply.
