When the status is changed the date will automatically be blank

I have a field Defect Close Plan which is a calendar/date field, when the  status is change to Failed-Retest the date will automatically be blank.

Hi @Eunice Malana - To confirm, are you looking to automate clearing that date field when the status transitions to Failed-Retest?  If so, your rule would look something like this?

• TRIGGER: Issue Transitioned (To Failed-Retest)
• ACTION: Edit Issue (Defect Close Plan)
  Leave the field blank and it will be cleared
