When migrating a Next-Gen board over to Classic will the issues be removed from the next-gen board?

Hello,

 

I'm switching our project from Next Gen to Classic. Before I migrate our issues over to the new classic board I wanted to test it out before moving my team over. So I'd like to move duplicate issues over to the new classic board and keep the next gen board with the issues for now. 

1. Can I duplicate all my issues in a certain project? 

or 

2. Does anyone know if when migrating issues form next gen to classic it makes duplicates and doesn't actually remove them from next gen?

If you move issues from a Next-gen project to a classic one, then yes, they are going to vanish from the old project (and hence the Next-gen board)
