The issue no longer happens. Can't trouble shoot or try the workarounds on the versions I reported, because it is no longer reproducible. Hopefully it stays that way. We will have to wait to upgrade GH to 6.1.

Hello there,

As mentioned in the support case, the cause of this issue is related to this bug in Greenhopper: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-5502

To avoid this error, please perform the steps outlined in the "Workaround" section of this knowledge base article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GHKB/Removing+Feedback+Related+Errors

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Alex Mobasser February 18, 2013

I appreciate pointing out those links. There is good information there. Currently the problem is dormant. If it starts again I will try the workaround.

And also time to upgrade to latest GH.

You are right we couldn't reproduce it on our sandbox environment with GH 6.1

That's unusual, we haven't seen it happening before. The best thing to do is to raise this with support at https://support.atlassian.com, so they can get some more details from you and try to reproduce it and get it fixed.

Antoher thing to note is that the issue is intermittent. All the users who tried, were getting this error last week. But today it is not reproducible!

We are planning a GH upgrade for near future and that should take care of it.
