What's the requirement to save a board to a project ?

Andrew Hatch June 3, 2022

I'm working on creating a variety of boards to track different projects and integrate into Confluence with the handy roadmap integration. However I seem to be pretty limited on locations to save the board to. While I have the option to save to my personal profile, I'd like to save this to a single project. I have (within my org) two other projects that are eligible, but I can't determine what feature/type of project is required to allow the board to saved to a project as a 'location'. Anyone know what the pre-requisite is to save a board to a project ?

Hey Andrew - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

See if this helps:

For the Location field, you will not be able to use a Team-managed, Business, or JSM Project - only Classic Software projects. Or you can link to your profile - probably best in this case. But this will not keep the new board from working - it really only cares about the project(s) in the filter.
