What are the standard Epic Colors that I can use in a search quiery

Arjun July 1, 2015
I do not need any custom colors, but would like to know what are the standard epic colors that come by default in the JIRA Agile pallete.

I am basically creating a custom quick filter to show issues of all the epics with a given color.

So using something like

"Epic Color" is pink

But does not seem to work.

ghx-label numbers in Jira.png

I got those from Jira v7.11.1. Hope it helps.

Saw this guide elsewhere for v7 so wanted to update for Cloud / v8.  We had a user that switched from Scrum to Kanban and wanted to be able to edit the colors.  I added the Epic Colour field to his view and gave him this guide to enter (there is no color picker, just an open text box for the field).

Jira Color Code.png

ghx-label-1         Black

ghx-label-2         Dark Yellow

ghx-label-3         Light Yellow

ghx-label-4         Dark blue

ghx-label-5         Dark Aqua

ghx-label-6         Light green

ghx-label-7         Light Purple

ghx-label-8         Dark purple

ghx-label-9         Light Pink

ghx-label-10       Light Blue

ghx-label-11       Light aqua

ghx-label-12       Light gray

ghx-label-13       dark green

ghx-label-14       dark coral/red(ish)

From some browsing via google, I found that the colors are now named: ghx-label-1 to ghx-label-9. Can we get a mapping of what is for what color. And some suggestion of how I can use that in the query above.
