We are being asked to begin our next projects in Jira and not VersionOne.

We will be starting our next projects in Jira and I need to understand the best way for our team to start.  Also, how do I and other Scrum Masters get Admin access to set up our teams?

Hi @Sue Marcum,

There is a whole bunch of information on getting started in the documentation, I suggest you start here: Getting Started. There are also a number of third-party vendors that specialize in helping new users set up their Jira instances to best fit their needs. TBH, your question is too broad to address in a Community post; this forum is best suited to helping find answers to specific questions.

For your Scrum Masters, I would suggest asking your site-admin to create a Group "Scrum Masters," give it jira-administrator access, and assign the Scrum Masters to it. That will allow the members admin access to every project that uses the Scrum Masters security group in it's security scheme. There is documentation on how to do this here:

Hope this helps,
