Already sent an email on support-system@atlassian.com 15 days back but no reply.
We are facing problem that how to close the identified long pending issues created in the JIRA software and want to close those issues on back dates and not on current date & time. These issues were already solved but not marked in JIRA on that date and time.
Please provide the solution and method that how to do this so that we can get the correct and updated report from JIRA software.

It is not possible to set the resolved date to be a different date other than the current date. This is hard-wired into Jira and not possible to update, with the exception of some scripts or database edits. Have a look at the discussion here:
