Unable to view system field on create, edit and view screens (jira data center)

I am a Jira admin. I have added 'Linked Issue' field to create, edit and view screens. Linked issue is also included in the issue field configuration. Yet when I try to create/edit an issue, the field does not show up.

Could you please help me out?

I edited the permissions for Linked issues

Hi @Jemima James

On a created ticket you need to first go to more and click on link.  Once you have an initial link, the links will show.

I was able to resolve the problem in a different way.
