Unable to troubleshoot Permission Scheme Import Error

We are getting below error when we select couple of projects from our data center instance for migration to the target Jira cloud site. The error is same for all those projects.

ERROR YYY project-import We couldn't import Permission Scheme 'XYZ scheme'. Reason: IllegalStateException: Errors: {holder.parameter=User '951e476f-6248-4a95-97a9-17d9c4c89d08' does not exist}
Error Messages: []. This caused 169 other items to fail.

There seems to be some permission schemes associated with the selected projects in our migration that reference invalid or missing users.

In order to removed that user reference, we tried to find but, we couldn't find the specified user '951e476f-6248-4a95-97a9-17d9c4c89d08' reference in the permission scheme mentioned in the error message. Also, that user doesn't exists in any of the USER database tables in the onprem database of the DC instance.

Please help us to get rid of this error.

@ushankar You are correct that it has to do with the permission scheme.  (https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/troubleshooting-errors-and-non-migrated-entities-with-the-jira-cloud-migration-assistant-1021239878.html) You need to:

  1. Remove the referenced user from named permission scheme in your server/DC instance.

  2. See this help document on how to remove or delete users from permission schemes.

  3. Re-run migration through the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant
