Unable to give permissions to certain Groups for Dashboards

I am looking to share/give permissions to Dashboards using Groups, but not all of the Groups show up (even when I search for them).  Does anyone know of any reasons why all Groups aren't available?  Does anyone know a way to resolve this?

Hi @Tara Bell ,

You must be a member of the group to which you like to share the dashbaord. Add yourself a member of the group and try again.

@Niranjanis right. Even the site-admin is unable to share a dashboard with groups that they are not a part of. You will need to add yourself to the relevant groups that you want to share the dashboard with.
