Unable to connect a project to a slack channel

I'm trying to connect a project with a slack channel but it keep failing. 

When I try from slack I getting 

on the other hand i can't find the channel when i try to link them on Jira.


I tried with another channel and it was successful, but unfortunately it is not the desired channel.

Hi @Abdul Samman ,

Is there any differences between the slack channels? Like private vs public vs DM. Judging by the fact that your other channel is reachable...I'm wondering if there's any access restrictions on the failed channel.

No both are private. And both have the Jira App added.

currently I’m sending the messages through webhook which is not the same unfortunately because it doesn’t add the task preview.
