Two burndown charts for single active sprint?

Hi All,

Is there a way to get two burndown charts for single active sprint?

Burn Down charts 1. for Story Points & 2. For QA Effort(Custom field).

What problem are you trying to solve by charting the information about your custom field, QA Effort?

It seems your team is trying to use the Scrum framework, as you note sprints.  So wouldn't the work for "QA Effort" be part of delivering any story/task to completion for the sprint?  Perhaps consider what is in the team's definition of done for story/task work.

Technically, because one (or both) of them would not be a burn-down chart.

Your board has a setting of "what to estimate on" and that one single value is what you burn down on.  You do not burn down on another estimate.

However, you can get Jira to show you these charts.  If you change the estimation setting on the board, you'll get a chart based on that.  This will, of course, make a complete nonsense of your sprint and not be an actual burn-down, but it will get you the chart.

The other option is to create an identical copy of the board, and change the estimation on that.  Again it'll give you a chart that is nonsense and not a burn-down, but it's better than flipping the original boards setting - you can keep this board hidden to stop people making a mess of the sprint while you're generating the chart.
