Translation of statuses

It's a bit of a howto-question.

There are different roles in my project. I do logging work so my project lead and maybe my team colleagues may see what I have done and where I am. But there are some roles, that may not see my works and time protocols on issues. How can I hide some features and fields, especially time and work protocols, from the view of some roles?

You can't really do this - Jira doesn't do field-level security. Lots of stuff is on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/jra-1330 including assorted workarounds, possible avenues of coding, and some plugins that can help.
